Having worked across both Australia and New Zealand, Wendi has an extensive background in consulting, sales, leadership development and strategy. Her passion and focus have been to work with organisations to achieve their strategic growth goals and hone their greatest competitive advantage – their people. One of her fundamental beliefs is that to achieve significant success and growth you must focus on the customer experience and outcome – continually delivering a better service today than yesterday. Wendi joined the Committee of the Melbourne Business Network in October 2018. She is passionate about supporting the development of businesses – start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs, corporate – within Melbourne.



Libby is Co-founder & Customer Officer at SmartMeasures, a Melbourne based company that helps large businesses keep their customers happy.  SmartMeasures offers a world first solution using AI (artificial intelligence) and Big Data to predict which customers are going to leave the business before they even realise it themselves, then help the business to reach out and stop them from leaving. With 30+ years of professional experience in Melbourne, Libby joined the MBN Committee in 2017 to help build connections and relationships between local business owners to support each other and help all of our businesses to thrive.



With over 30 years’ experience in the area of intellectual property (IP) law, Jennifer also has ‘hands-on’ experience in business, starting a boutique IP firm in 2004, which operated until 2017 when merging with Wrays, where Jennifer is currently working.  This experience enables Jennifer to understand the challenges facing business enterprises. Beginning her working life as a research biochemist at Murdoch University, Western Australia looking at iron metabolism in lamprey eels, Jennifer’s journey into intellectual property started when entering the patent attorney profession in 1987 at Wrays Perth where she completed qualifications as a patent attorney in 1993.  Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Law degree in 1994 and articles with Minter Ellison. During the period 1999 to 2004, Jennifer worked with the firms of Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick, Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) and Gadens before establishing the specialist IP firms EKM legal in 2004 and EKM patent & trade marks in 2006.  EKM merged with Wrays in April 2017

Brian Jones has forty-two years experience in corporate, professional accounting, taxation, audit and business advisory fields. He has been in practice in Melbourne as an accountant, business advisor and forensic accountant since 1989.  Prior to this he was with BP Australia in accounting policy and systems, corporate accounting and corporate treasury roles. Brian worked for Touche Ross in London, Birmingham and Geneva before moving to Australia in 1983. He now specialises in audit, strategic planning, taxation, management and forensic accounting and is an accredited business valuer and accredited forensic accounting specialist.

With a background in recruitment, telecommunications and vendor services, Anita is well equipped to provide expertise and thought leadership to those seeking advice. Previous experience as CEO, President, Director and Company Secretary gives her great insight into business strategy specialising in Sales and Marketing management.




Bradley has had a diverse range of experience as an entrepreneur, founder, CEO & CIO of a number of successful companies including SEEK and Computershare. Bradley has launched and worked with many successful startups, raised millions of dollars and rapidly grown tech startups from zero to hero.
Bradley is a regular public speaker with his own YouTube channel and as a founder of Northbridge Capital regularly assists companies on capital raising, international growth, marketing and technology

Chris is the founder of ProfileBooth, a photography service that helps businesses generate leads and networking opportunities at Conferences and Events, using a unique Headshot Booth. They also provide event and promotional photography and video for businesses wanting to enhance their online image and improve their social media content. Chris enjoys meeting new people, finding out more about them and what makes them tick. He also enjoys learning about different cultures and people groups. Chris has a background in the corporate, construction and environmental industries and has joined the MBN Committee to help connect people, the true heart of any business.



Di Schmidtke
Dianne has a keen interest in innovative ways that business and Social Enterprise can work together for mutually beneficial outcomes.
With a background in not-for-profit and Social Enterprise, Dianne is interested in creating a socially inclusive Melbourne, where all
businesses can thrive while working within an ethos of caring for each other and our environment. Bringing a vast network and extensive event experience, Dianne is ready to work with the MBN Committee to build a forum for members of the Melbourne Business Network to share their successes to while building their businesses.


Grant is an accomplished and growth-focused leader with 18+ years’ experience running small businesses and all the dimensions therein.He is a volunteer mentor for the Small Business Mentoring Service, serves on the Sub-Committee for Small Business at Victorian Chamber for Commerce and Industry and mentors for ASBAS. Consequently, small business continues to be part of his DNA. He has a Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from SMU. He has been an Innovation Practitioner since 2008, organises Pop-Up Innovation Hubs and has designed and run numerous interventions with companies of all sizes. He also conducts various programs for companies, including Leading Teams for Innovation, Business Model and Service Innovation. He packaged various creative thinking methodologies and combined them into an engaging and educational program.
