President - John Stock’s Message
Good afternoon Fellow West Ender’s,
Well, we have certainly had a very hot start to 2008! I now believe we are at the end of it, and due for some much needed rain and cold weather.
Westend has begun 2008 with lots of enthusiasm and excitement. We are soon to launch our New Expanded Association and with that, our new name. The launch is detailed below in the Newsletter and will be officiated by The Lord Mayor, John So.
We held our first 2008 Breakfast Event at the RACV Club in Melbourne with our guest speaker, Ross Jackson, Maddocks. Ross spoke of the new government, workplace laws and also answered many questions. This breakfast was a very well attended event with many old and new faces in attendance.
We recently held our Annual AGM and thanked our outgoing committee. Now, we welcome a new committee as per below:

We have already had two productive meetings, and with the enthusiasm of the new committee we promise to have a very succesful year filled with lots of exciting events.
