• Enjoys an excellent reputation for holding functions of interest and fun. The highlight of the function year is the Annual Foundation Day Debate at the Victorian Club, celebrating Melbourne's birthday.
• A variety of cocktail functions and luncheons is another part of our networking activities.
• Offers regular and easy contact to the Melbourne Town Hall and its many departments, and is able to facilitate support when dealing with council matters. 
• Presents regular educational workshops for business improvement, as well as providing marketing support for some of our members.

• The Melbourne Business Network is part of the Precinct Program, which was initiated by the City of Melbourne nine years ago. There are fifteen precincts within the City of Melbourne, and each receives financial support for marketing and promotion.
